A fine and elegant wine on the palate, aromas of red fruits, garrigue and spices assault the nose on first opening the bottle. A delicate, smooth fruity mouthful follows and the tannins are fine and delicate with a good balance of acidity. A lovely wine in it's youth, it should be drunk while relatively young and is drinking at it's best at the moment.
This wine is perfect for an early spring picnic or lazy summer's day in the park. Roast chicken, pork cutlets or a cheese plate would go wonderfully with this wine.
